Privacy Policy
Effective 17 October 2026
LIYYON MADE IT ("we", "us") runs the beat store at liyyonmadeit.dbincorp.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign up with email, your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form by our login provider and we never see it.
- Google sign-in. If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use these only to create and sign you in to your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google data.
- Your activity in your account. Beats you save as favorites, your email preferences and, once payments are live, the licenses you buy, your order history and your license keys.
- Messages and requests. Information you send through the contact form, the custom beat form (such as artist name, email, genre, mood, references, budget, deadline and notes) or the newsletter sign-up.
- Payments. Payments by card or Mobile Money are processed by our payment provider, Paystack. We receive confirmation of the payment, your email and the amount, but we never see or store your full card number or Mobile Money PIN.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We count how many times each beat preview is played, without linking plays to you.
Storage in your browser
The site saves a few things in your browser's local storage so it works smoothly: your cart, light or dark theme, recently played beats, favorites you save while signed out, and your sign-in session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
How we use your information
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To deliver the beats and licenses you buy, and to show your downloads and license keys in your account.
- To reply to your messages and custom beat requests.
- To send new-release emails, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the site for us, and only as much as they need:
- Supabase: account login, database and file storage.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and delivery.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose Continue with Google, and web fonts.
- Paystack: payment processing, when you buy a license.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If the business is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
Google user data
Information we receive from Google is used only to provide sign-in and your account on this site. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the providers listed above who help us run the site. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. We keep order and license records for as long as the license is valid and as long as tax and accounting law requires, because they prove your right to use a beat. Messages and requests are kept for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter emails are deleted when you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your name and email preferences in your account.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data.
- You can unsubscribe from release emails at any time.
- If you signed in with Google, you can remove our access at any time from your Google Account under Security, then Third-party connections.
To make a request, email us at the address below. We will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to customer data is limited by database security rules so that each person can see only their own account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
The store is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Buyers under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our service providers may store and process information in countries other than yours. When they do, they protect it under their own security and privacy commitments.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will let account holders know by email.
